Spring Concert
May 4, 2:30 pm and May 5, 7:30 pm
2024-2025 Choral Midwest
We can't believe we are preparing for our final concert of the season! Join us this May as we wrap up our 2024-2025 season with our Spring Seasons of Song Concert. It promises to be filled with incredible music, including the full Chorale performing A Jubilant Song by Norman Dello Joio, Moses Hogan's My Soul's Been Anchored in the Lord, Bob Dylan's The Times They Are A-Changing, and more. The Chamber Singers will add a double mixed-chorus arrangement of Ave Maris Stella by Trond Kverno and additional pieces. The concert promises to be a true celebration of Spring.
Get your tickets now for Sunday, May 4, 2025, 2:30 pm, or Monday, May 5, 2025, 7:30 pm. Both performances are at Christ Episcopal Church, 220 40th Street NE, Cedar Rapids.
Seasons of Song
Art Series by John Paul Schafer
We premiered this suite of four pieces "Seasons of Song" by artist John Paul Schafer at our concert earlier in the fall. These works are for sale, and thanks to John's generosity, half of the proceeds will be donated to Chorale Midwest. Take the opportunity to view these incredible pieecs again at our Christmas Concerts December 8th and 10th. Learn more about the works and read John's artist statement here.
